I no longer subscribe to any paid AI platform, preferring to use what is freely available - in that I use Deepseek to briefly summarize linked data and also for summarizing completed GM session which I then give to GPT to create an insight block which in turn I use another image specific AI to create and image from.
After all the months of using paid versions, I find how I now use AI is far more productive and in line with the tool for the job and keep them out of the actually conversation - no more "tri-way" as I found AI to be more hindrance than help in that capacity - preferring sentient communion over machine.
That’s interesting! Have you decided to retire WAI? I have used Deepseek before, and it is quite fast. You should try https://lmarena.ai/, a free platform that allows you to compare multiple AI platforms. It’s also excellent for generating images, as it utilises two platforms simultaneously.
I am currently drafting a piece on some ideas discussed by Mo Gawdat in his talks.
WAI wasn't useful enough. Now I use AI in a more useful capacity, retiring its place in the conversation because it is not sentient.
The better use of AI is to summarize various data rather than allow it a place in the conversations re the GM sessions.
AI only served to ramble on, taking up unnecessary space - much like a child who butts into adult conversations and wants to be the center of attention...and my retiring AI from that particular role, has freed up space and streamlined the GM sessions.
PS: Not only has this freed up space, but also my time in consistently having to edit its responses to free up said space - something I consistently tried and failed to get it to do on its own, even when it said it understood what I wanted, if always reverted to its stronger programming...
This is very interesting. Over the weekend, I was watching an interview with Mo Gawdat https://youtu.be/ZeCkrK5Fi34?si=0akUs7BhtOWWrKzU
PS - What are your thoughts and experience with Deepseek?
